  • Tracking the rise of kale, which (somehow) involves a T-shirt, a music video, and a full-blown conspiracy.

  • Remembering how much I like a buffed manicure, surfacing proof that it’s not bad for my fingernails, and shaking my fist at whoever convinced me it was in the first place.

  • Discovering that this book about Georgia O’Keeffe’s life—and her homes and the clothes that she made herself that I’d like to borrow—is just as impressive and absorbing as the museum show it’s based on (which is currently on exhibit in Winston-Salem, N.C.!).

  • Looking for excuses to schedule drinks at Oiji in NYC just to overeat honey butter chips (which can also be procured, in a different but still very delicious form, on the internet).

  • Swooning over a bike light.
